Legacy Foundation, Registered Charity No. 978, is a philanthropic initiative of the members of Barbados Public Workers’ Co-operative Credit Union Limited.

The idea of setting up a foundation to facilitate charitable giving by members was first presented at the Credit Union's 2009 annual general meeting. Each year since, members have set aside funds by way of appropriations for this purpose.

The Foundation enables members to pool their charitable donations and will help to leave a lasting, positive impression on Barbados by utilizing these resources in support of learning, wellness and empowerment.
